It is a wireless network that is only limited within a short distance. The transfer of all data can also be achieved with device that has been infrared. Infrared radiation use energy as electromagnetic waves in the portion of spectrum which is beyond to the wavelength limit of only the red portion of visible radiation.

ADVANTAGES OF INFRARED
i. It has Low power requirements therefor the idea for laptops,or telephones,and personal digital assistants.
ii. If it is portable as it has been fully adopted by the most international travelers.
iii. It does not have to the interference from signals from other devices.
PROBLEMS OF INFRARED
i. The transmission could be blocked by the common materials like the people, walls, plants etc.
ii. Performance of the drops off with line distances.
iii. The Direct sunlight, and the rain, fog, dust,and also the pollution can affect to the transmission.
iv. Data transmission is also lower than the typical of wired transmission.
d. BLUETOOTH
This is only an open wireless protocol that is used for exchanging data over and also short distances from the fixed and also the mobile devices, and also creating personal area network . The Bluetooth is a simple wireless network that only allows up to eight devices to be connected together in a network. It is short range to an operation and also can be used for “personal network”.
ADVANTAGES OF BLUETOOTH
i. Bluetooth is really widely used across the countries and can almost by everyone.
ii. Bluetooth usage is also free of charge.
iii. It does not use ant type cord.
iv. It has also the ability to keep all of the information fully private and even though data could be exchange and across to the systems with Bluetooth.
v. Bluetooth also allows to all of the users to control because the user has to access to accept or reject to the request.
PROBLEMS OF BLUETOOTH
i. The Bluetooth also uses more battery power when leave enable.
ii. While using Bluetooth internet, the connection could be sometimes run very slow.
iii. Greater range and radio frequency of Bluetooth make it much more open to interception and attack.
