CONCEPTS OF SYSTEM ANALYST

A system Analyst is the only one that is under studies of an existing manual of computer system whether the computerization of  system is very necessary, it is feasible and cost effective.

The System analyst design a fully computerized procedure and also specified all function of the different programs that constitute the system.

The purpose of system analyst is to do depth study of all the objectives and problems of existing procedure(s)  and also to produce a specification that is very flexible to allow some application to be wedded to it without any duplication of  different work procedure.

SYSTEM ANALYSIS

It is the process of only studying the information requirements of the organization or the system and also preparing a set of different functional specification that identify whether a new or a replacement system is required and also that serves  as basic for the design and also developing of the system.

It is  used only to describe the process of gathering and also analyzing facts in the respects of all existing operations, All the procedures and systems in order to obtain a full appreciation of the situation providing that an effective and  computerized system  designed and also implemented if proved feasiblility.

Duties of a system Analyst

ü   System analyst o analyses the system only  by carrying out thorough different investigation.

ü   it may be called a system designer since he also designs the system.

ROLES OF A SYSTEM ANALYST

•    Analyzing the findings of all the investigation so that  can be used fully effectively in designing of a new system.
•  Investigation o f the existing information usage, also systems and procedures of the company with a view to discovering problems.
•    Designing of the new system because it increase efficiency,and also minimizes the problems and also achieved the objectives and set for it by the steering committee.
•   It Testing and also implementing the new system.
• Define all the actions and alsorequire to deal with various conditions and arising in the system by means of decision tables.
•   Specify to the most appropriate proceeding techniques only for the prevailing of circumstances.

ü   The system analyst also should have a good education.

ü   They possess the sterling and personal qualities to confidence,and  creativity, patience, communicability, innovation.

ü   They also should be the logical, and also have sense of the responsibility.
